HD Flags Set 4 - 16 Total

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Reb - that has to be some of your best work, so far!

Now the only thing that you need are some digital soldiers to carry them around!

You seem to be putting these out fairly quickly, have you developed a new technique?

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!

Nice!

Out of curiosity, what dictates whether a flag is wrapped around the pole or is held on by the three rings like the confederate one on the right?

agree with this.
the colours are very very nice, the only thing wrong with these and all others is no colour bearer to carry them!
its one of the very few things that jars in this game.
the flags are beutifull. cheers

Thanks D

Flag bearers are still in the Future Depot stage. Since they'll have to be unit sprites, not 2D like the flags, they must be considered on their worth, as they will lag the game. And since there must be two, Reb and Yank, are they worth more than adding two more uniforms? You see why they're on the back burner?

Yeah, getting faster with the HD process...practice makes...well, you know.

I generally go with the flag's original design as pictured in museums and such. When I have to guess, Union had more sleeved, Rebs more tied...primarily had to do with amount of material available. The Union basically had access to more and better materials.
