Chancellorsville Is Out!!!

I saw that Chancellorsville is available on Matrix's website now. Is there a reason SOW.com hasn't been updated or will you be required to purchase through Matrix now?

Also it appears to be stand alone, my impression as that it would be either a stand alone or expansion. Will this be reflected in pricing later or am I missing something?

Same install and price for stand alone and expansion. Call it a 'smart install' if you will. If you already have GB, it will install as an expansion. If you don't have GB, it will install the stand alone version.

Thanks, and I just purchased it, though I would say I am disappointed Norbsoft hasn't updated it's Scourge of War website to include this. I know it just came out today but while I love this game it seems website support is lacking if the site isn't updated immediately upon release of a new game. If someone stumbled upon the site they would have no clue Chancellorsville is out and you could lose out on potential sales!

Norbsoft has been crippled this past week with Norb stranded in NJ along with our server being down due to no power. Regardless, all promotion is now delegated to Matrix Games. They have the final call on all releases and prices as long as we're business partners.

Bottom Line: SOW builds and tests...Matrix advertises and sells.

Now that it's released we're free to hype it up, and indeed we will, along with our SECOND TO NONE tech support. It's just that before releases, we must stay pretty much mum, lest we inadvertently mess with Matrix's promotional strategies.

I purchased the hard copy and download as well. I have played 3 games so far. Each time the fps get better as I play. Beautiful work boys. My first game I got turned around and was lost in the woods. It was really fun to play. The maps are top shelf. Reb, the flags are a real enhancement to overall visual experience. Many thank you's for a job well done.
