Firefox 1.9 having problems submitting files, and/or screenshots.

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Firefox 1.9 having problems submitting files, and/or screenshots.

Hmmm, I have version 1.9 version of firefox, and just to let those know that version of Joomla 1.5 with older versions of mootools will not all you to upload any files.

My only suggestion is to downgrade your version of FF to version 1.7

Special note for those running Joomla 1.5. Please upgrade your Mootools with the latest Mootolls plugin.

Cheers!

Yeah, I have been announcing this in various posts. My solution is to use another browser when you need to post an attachment, I use Chrome, but otherwise stick with Firefox...Chrome has many other issues I prefer not to deal with.

Thanks Rebbugler. I use both. Your definitely right I have found Chrome to have so many issues with video that it's amazing.

Thanks again Rebugler. :)

I have been using Chrome the last few weeks because I got fed-up with Firefox always crashing on me. I'm very impressed with it so far, especially the speed. Has to be the fastest browser available. Haven't had any video issues or other problems yet.

It is a fast web browser, but I started to see some real annoying glitches such as when loading certain websites Chrome would freeze, and HD access would be excessive which pretty much means that the software is having a cache problem.

Also you may come across a video issue when the video player would overlap segments of text on websites even when you update your drivers. After awhile I had to give up on it.

Don't get me wrong, Chrome is nice, and so is Firefox, but both sure do have their issues.

Rock the Casbah!!! :)

Here is an interesting addon for Firefox called iMacros.

I use it so I can restart my radio server.

The latest Firefox versions including beta 20 works fine for websites that are above j1.5.

Oh well, if you wish to use firefox, and upload screenies, and files, use version 1.7 or below otherwise you will run into problems.

I have no idea what possessed Mozilla to cripple their web browser... very stupid.
