I also noticed that sometimes, the cavalry would just refuse to charge. That too is believable. They will only attack if they think they have a chance at success.

One suggestion is to mod battledef.ini so that flank and rear fire morale damage is more realistic. The stock values are not.
thanks for the cavalry feedback. Seems like its working as i intended. The refusing to charge is a common thing I have noticed that might frustrate some players. However I do find it really realistic. Normally I can get cavalry to charge 99% of the time if they are fresh, after they have had a round of combat or suffer a reduction in morale the chance of charging gets less and less. This is good since it simulates the 'blown' effect of cavalry after a charge and they must wait some time to be able to charge effectively again.

Thanks for the info about the battledef file, i will take a look.
