Installing, and patching from version 1.0 of SOW to 1.5

Okay man this is soooo cool when I can do these things, I thrive on this stuff. Just to note, I uninstalled SOWgb, and wiped my registry of any sign of Matrix, and NorbSoftDev.

Okay I installed version 1.00000 (first original version), and I didn't activate the game (no point in doing that). I have to say that brought back allot of good memories, and the I experienced the exact same excitement (I didn't expect to feel that way but I did, and that has never happened to me before) being able to play the 1.0 version, and it was this version that started me loving this game. Best dang money I have ever spent!!! Okay, okay I'm rambling here...

Okay 1.0 installed perfectly. I then tried installing the original 1.5 patch (we all had trouble with), and it gave me the exact same problems others were facing yesterday (would not let me choose a directory). So I installed the revised 1.5 patch with no problems what-so-ever, and ran the game... Look at the screenshots I took, and see for yourself.

So you can install the 1.0, and install the revised 1.5 patch with NO problems.

Where could one find the version 1.0000 Demo download? I have Windows 7 Compatibility issues, and need to try a fresh reinstall I think...
