Is there any way to do this, whilst leaving vegetation?
I'm playing around with some Indian vs US Cavalry engagements, and am trying to get the battlefields to approximate the high plains.
In the Options II screen, setting Map Objects to 'low' removes house & fences, but leaves walls, cemeteries and bridges.
I find I can remove walls & cemeteries by using the 'T' key, but this also removes all the vegetation. I cannot remove bridges at all.
I find the same issue with the stock maps and Garnier's excellent random maps.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

Re: Removing walls, cemeteries and bridges?
You can edit the maps .csv files to get rid of walls. For instance, on the random maps, make copies of say RandomMaps4L_105.ini and RandomMaps4L_105.csv, and name them something else (like RandomMaps4L_105_MJ.ini and RandomMaps4L_105_MJ.csv or whatever). Edit this new ini file to make it use your csv file. Then edit the new csv file and find the lines for walls. You should be able to figure out what to change to get rid of the wall sprites and the defensive bonus. Make the wall terrain behave like Open does.

Wasn't there a mod to remove the defense bonus of fences (and possibly walls?). But I can't find it at the moment. Maybe this would also help.

Re: Removing walls, cemeteries and bridges?
Get one of the map mod team members to make you a high plains map. A generic, open plains map, especially one without walls and/or fences wouldn't take that long to make. Davinci, Crikey, Garnier, just might oblige.

Yes, I think you might be thinking of this:Wasn't there a mod to remove the defense bonus of fences (and possibly walls?). But I can't find it at the moment. Maybe this would also help.
Road to Wagram 1809 map mod- Jack Oneill
I can't find it either. It might have been an extra with the original Road to Wagram download.
I have it if you want it, Martin
And thanks again Jack

Re: Removing walls, cemeteries and bridges?
Thanks to everyone for your very helpful responses.
And yes some more random maps would be very nice. Please
The Little Bighorn battlefield has some quite pronounced bluffs and other bumps, with cottonwoods in the valley bottoms, so I don't think such maps need be bland either.
