Re: Need to re-download
Please try again, many folks miscopy their reg code because it's so long. Make sure all the digits are included with no extra spaces.Done that but it doesn't take my registration code

Related Q: Just dawned on me (and maybe others might be interested) that BEFORE a crash, or laptop death...
What info should I get & save, where can I find it, and who/whom/what web address would I turn to, to restore my GB & Antietam if necessary?
It occurred to me that if I stashed the info NOW, I would reduce aggravation later, no?
Thanks in advance for reading and insights.

First make a little text file with all of your installer codes, usernames and passwords, board logins etc. Keep it on your system, but back it up regularly to an old USB chip that you keep in a desk drawer.
Second, for all of your SOW games, register them with Matrix.
Third, invest a hundred bucks or so in a USB external drive and make regular system image backups.

Re: Need to re-downloada
Ok - But so far, all I can actually find are the Matrix registry codes for GB and Chancelorsville (found them on the Matrix website. I can't even find anything for Antietam there.)
This all may seem to be perfectly obvious to you, but I have no clue where the 'installer codes' you mention would be located. On my hard drive? Or somewhere at Matrix or NorbSoftDev? To the casual player of the game - the game docs are not particularly intuitive (being somewhat understated here) as to where or what to find or save in the event of a loss... which is why I asked for a little friendly advice in the first place.)
If you can, can you provide more specifics? (Where the 'installer codes' would be located - in what folder and/or file?)
Regarding buying a $100 USB drive to maintain a system image backup... seems a little sledge hammer extreme to recover a $40 game - if I can simply save off the appropriate installation or registration code, no?
(I'm not a hard core modding gamer here - just a casual player - Can forgo saved games - just need to be able to reinstall if I kill or replace the laptop).
Thanks,
