Work in Progress Seven Years War

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Here are some preview screenshots of the Seven Years War. The sprites are converted from an Empire Total War mod for which I have received permission to use. This will include British,French,Russian,Prussian,Austrian,Sweden,Denmark,Poland,
Holland,Spain and the Ottoman Empire as well as some of the contingents that fought alongside the major nations.

Is that TC2M in the screenshots?
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.

Hi Saddletank

Yes it is TC2M.

I have just acquired texturepacker and wanted to learn how to pack sprites before moving it into SOW . I have a lot of sprites converted but in the old format so that will be what takes a little time.

If there is anyone who is familiar with the texture packer programme and how to pack converted sprites I would appreciate any procedural information assistance as it would speed up the process somewhat

Hi Zeke

Good to chat to you again. See you have been working hard. Been playing your revolution mod and enjoying it. Have added a militia sprite with a bicorne from the NTW collection and redone some of the paintwork. Also repainted it to look like prussians at Jena which you might be interested in as I see you were thinking of doing a OOB for it. Let me know if your interested. Look out for you on the forums.
Enjoy

Good stuff glad your enjoying my French Revolutionary war mod! Jena is certainly on the radar (researching at the moment) and will be coming after I finish Wagram which will be in a couple of weeks so any Prussian style infantry of the 1806 period would be very interesting to see!:) The Wagram battle project has taken up a bit of time...I've added a couple of new sprites including Napoleon(see my Wagram topic for pics) and some new flags not as good as RebBuglers but passable!! :)

I'm actually off to the Aspern and Wagram battlefield next week (the girlfriend thinks we are just doing Vienna...I'll break it to her gently!!! ;) )
