Hey, which one of the Team-Members packed the Sprites using the Texture Packer ?
I'm looking at the files, and can't understand how the sprites were packed due to them having multiple files in each sheet.
So, can someone explain how the process works!
Thanks,
davinci

Re: Question - Team Member - Texture Pcker
I thought you had packed terrain sprites before when you did your alpine maps? Maybe I am mistaken. Either way, it is explained in detail in one of the SDK's, can't remember which one or if we even released it. I'll ping the team about it.

@LP - Yes, you are correct, but the trees, and bushes didn't seem to have to be in any selective order to work.I thought you had packed terrain sprites before when you did your alpine maps?
Looking at the Packed-Sprites , I can't see any logical order as to why they seem to be all over the sheets.
To put that another way, they do not seem to be aligned in an even order like the DDS sheets.
But, now that I think about it, I might just try to do what Reb did with his flags, and see if putting them on a 2048x2048 sheet makes any difference.
That way I can put a lot more sprites on a single sheet which might help with the fps of not having them packed. Also, they do move a lot better as far as smoothness by not being packed!
Thanks for the reply!
