Just want to confirm that this feature doesn't work so well.
I have experimented a bit and find that individual regiments will follow way point orders but when I order Hoods division to move following way points around a union position he goes straight to the final way point objective and never goes to the first two way points. I have used way points on Currier orders and using the order map. Is it just an issue with larger units such as described here? Its a great feature if it works.

Waypoints are meant for single commanders or units only.
Re: Issues with way points....
By single commanders do you mean orders just to the commander, not including his units? By units you mean only individual regiments?

Waypoints work fine in moving units via click positioning, holding down the Control key with each destination and formation selection. However, I don't see how this would work with courier movement orders only.

Using the command map, it works just fine, putting a green star at each point. However, I don't see how this would work with courier movement orders only.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

I have successfully used Way Points moving troops. Came in handy a few times bringing them in behind the Yanks while aproaching their front as well.
