Does anyone know how to add the 10 mile map to the
scenario generator mod. This would really make epic battles.
Maybe, someone should contact the creator of the scenario generator mod
and ask him how to add the 10 mile map to the scenario generator or to the next release?

thanks for your interest in the Scenario Generator. You are right, it only supports 2.5x2.5 and 5x5 mile maps at this time. As long as there is only one 10x10 mile map available I refrain from adding all formulas to support it.
I know the following idea will not help a lot, but you could still add it to the list of maps like a 5x5 mile map, and then you could at least play on the top left quarter of the map...

I found a go around using Open office, now it's just a matter of learning how to use the Generator. The problem with the go around is that I don't know what I did. If I figure it out I'll share it.

I was considering buying Excel so if Open office works as it looks now that it will, it's a money saver. I tried to use it before with the Generator to no avail, but last night in a sleepy haze I did whatever I did and it appeared, was getting a blank screen and message.

I also have OpenOffice, but I couldn't get its macros to work. And I strongly doubt that Excel macros will work in OpenOffice.
I haven't had the chance to work with it yet but I'll let you know. I did get the Macros for Open Office enabled but before, that is where it would stop. I would think if it didn't work for you, it probably will not work, as I said earlier I have no idea what I did.

Just a note to thank Leefe7 for this really useful system. For an amateur modder it's great. And of course you can copy the scenario into a Mods folder and tweak it further.
I had to upgrade excel from the Open Office version, but 2010 was reasonably cheap.
Any way we could get the 1862 Peninsular OOB Mod added to the generator? Having a blast playing with that OOB just in sandbox but would like to be able to create some different scenarios for us to play.
you can load your Peninsular OOB as the "Custom OOB", and as long as you don't overwrite it with another custom OOB it will stay. BTW, couriers will be added automatically to every OOB.

Thanks a bunch, good to know it will stay there until I unload it etc. The 2 OOB I found were before I started playing with the Generator, when I opened the OOB, no courier was listed for these 2 OOb's for the union but was for the Rebs. Rebs courier worked normal, Union had none zip nada.
I am slowly getting the hang of your generator, fantastic tool. Main thing on my plate right now is learning to decipher the logs so I can try to hunt down our random massive game lag. Can play same sandbox game with same folks, same settings all on fresh re-boots and one game will run clean as a whistle the next it might lag so bad you think it was a lock up.
