All,
Grandson #1 finally has a computer worthy of the name, (I know, I built it), so I grabbed the latest Demo for him to try. Couple of questions though...
Why is the Demo a different version from the actual game? (or did I grab the wrong one?) It is 1.6 vs. 1.65 for the actual game. I thought I read at one time the Demo and the Real Game were to be compatible so they could be played MP with each other?
What happened with the Tutorials? I thought the originals were quite good.
I changed the jump map to the modded (Green) one so he could see better. Can we add maps to the Sandbox section?
Anyway, Still cool.

Wait - do I need to patch the Demo up to 1.65 or whatever?

The full game version is 1.61. The difference vs 1.60 were two bug fixes for couriers. It is not likely that anyone playing the demo will get deep enough into the game to notice. We reduced the amount of material in the demo to encourage actually buying the game. As the base game can be had for the price of 2 decent pizzas it is not that big an investment.

Thanks Jim. I wondered. Now, is it possible to play Demo vs. Full game at this time, given the minor differences?

Don't know that we ever tried, but feel free to experiment, you can't hurt anything. Worst case is that you would have to download the demo to your system.
