Invitation to join our HITS and Courier MP games

Our group has been playing regular games for a few months now. The games are played in a good spirit, and we are all on first name terms. Most of the group are from the USA, UK and continental Europe, but we have members from as far away as Bangladesh.

We play a mix of ACW and Napoleonic. Most of our MP games involve 6-12 players. Depending on numbers, we will either have two human teams, or play with one team versus the AI. We employ a chain of command, with some players taking corps command, and others commanding divisions and brigades. We are very supportive to new players, and they can play at whatever command level they feel most comfortable.

We like our history, and try especially to recreate the fog-of-war, which this brilliant game allows you to do so well. So we always play HITS (with the camera set very close to the player), and no helicopter views of the battlefield. We normally use couriers for communication, unless players are in the same place, when they can talk directly if they wish using TeamSpeak.

Our winter/spring schedule has games every Friday and Saturday at 20.30 UK time.

Our games will not appeal to everyone. Competitive players may be uncomfortable that we don't take things too seriously. Those who like to feel in control, will not enjoy the chaos of the battlefield which HITS play so accurately recreates.
