Testing TC2M Sprites Packed

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

It's been years but I think that there was another one included that had some sort of stripes on their pants.

That's interesting, Davinci. It would be good if we could find that one too. The more variety the better in my view, let's bring them all together and share them.

It will give ACW fans something to play with, and help keep the game fresh, while NSD's focus is on Napoleonics.

And now we can pack them, we can start using them in MP games too.

I save everything that I download in different folders, this way I can always go beck and retrieve a file.

The problem here is that these files were downloaded in 2012 , and I'm having trouble remembering where I placed them.

I have a very bad habit of placing files within folders......Still Searching!

But - @ Reb - If you have access to the Server that we used for the Map \ Files - they should still be on that server under - CD \ Extras - or something similar.

Update, all Union TC2M sprites are now ready for SOW action...see first post.

I forgot how cool the zouave sprites looked, the hat tassel swinging is so realistic, and, the iron brigade, wow. It's the high rez that's so startling, back in TC2M days I don't know how folks could run Best uniforms with only 2 GB of RAM...I couldn't. But now, hi rez is the norm thanks to 64 bit texture packing.

Hey Reb,

Awesome job and I agree about how good the zouave sprites looked ! ;) ;)

One thing that I noticed, not the sprites but the toolbar...

Meredith received the order to a specific location on the map and the order said to take roads to get there.
Meredith himself did not have a 'road' icon for the troops but each regiment had a 'road' icon that I had to click on within each regiment individually for them to take the road. When I went back to Meredith, he was actually taking a shortcut to the spot on the map but if he continued on, he would have walked right through the Reb lines....
Any idea on why Meredith doesn't have "Road" icon ?

Thanks

Really don't think that anomaly has anything to do with this mod. The lighting up of the roadmarch icon has always baffled me, sometimes it lights up for pathing, sometimes it just seems random. All I've got to say about this is :woohoo: .

Glad you like the Yanks, it appears that attention to detail sums them up.

Love the sprites add a new exciting factor to the game. Cannot wait to see the Iron Brigade and all its glory push the rebs back while the Red Devils support their flank. Confederates are wonderful as well! Thanks so much for this it is simply wonderful.
