Thanks guys!
Felt great to finally crack it. Now I just need the Farnsworth (also a really tough one for me) one and I have an MV in every scenario.
I should back up my save file...
Edit: just 350 points short on MV on the Farnsworth Gauntlet now. I can taste victory.

And there we have it! 3657 points. Last MV I needed.
That was a tough run. Feels great to have done it. Farnsworths Gauntlet was beaten by me playing super gamey though. Holing each point as I needed and then galloping on to the next while having already sent two units ahead. That way I could leap frog my commander along while always being in the process of taking a place.

If you play it historically it's a suicide run...as it was historically. :woohoo:
Congratulations for a battle well done!

And yes, I initially tried to play it in a way that seemed to make sense from a military standpoint. As in taking and clearing objectives. That ended not very well, obviously, so I decided that I'd leave it to the infantry to hold the objectives after I rushed away. Boys need something to do as well!
It also impressed on my just how important height advantage is. On the final VP I basically circled round the rebs and took the high ground and then tore them apart for the last couple hundred points I needed after the VP was gone. That green icon is awesome!
