Just checked over the script and ran it again against the Matrix version, works every time. I wish I knew what was wrong, but for some reason the script is failing to remove those files on some machines. I'm assuming that you didn't rename the folder or change anything in there. I'll keep looking, but thanks.
Nope, didn't move/rename files. Does it make a difference if the mod is enabled or not? I can't imagine that it would, but...

My game is installed at C:\Matrix Games\Scourge of War Waterloo, so I should have any of the privilege issues you get if the game was in Program Files. FWIW, I didn't run the patch as Administrator.

The only other guy over at Grogheads that I know installed the patch had the same issue. It didn't remove the files for him, either.

Weird problem. Let me know if there's any other means of testing I can try for you.

By removing those files, the modded toolbar is missing some buttons. :(

Norb, are you using the registry information for the install location or just the default folder info from the matrix install?
My game is not installed at the default location.

The patch knew where the install was.

Do you have to delete the ToolbarButtons.xml file? If you do, it removes some of the toolbar buttons.

Due to this report I'll hold off on applying the patch for now.

Its such a pity the Grog toolbar is in the game as a mod. If the game had just used it and nothing else I think we would be further forward now.

What buttons are removed from the grog toolbar? I hadn't noticed anything missing, which is not to say buttons weren't removed.

Reb will post a thread with the mod here. It's not a good idea to have it as part of the game. It's his baby and supporting it from the boards will allow him the freedom and accessibility to develop to the community. But since it was shipped with the game, I'm just trying to make sure it doesn't crash the game when enabled.

I am attaching the latest version. So you can just delete the mod and replace it with this and it should work for everyone. Later Reb will start a thread where he can release updates.
