Re:Dead artillery
I have an idea for artillery resupling. I've read in many books about people running back to the wagons to get the artillery ammo so I was thinking if your guns are close to the wagons you can press resuply and a simple infantry or artillery man will run to the nearest wagon grab 2-3 rounds of each type of ammo and then run back to the gun taking the shortest route. This way you can keep your guns in position and also keep your wagons out of harms way.

Nice! Though usually the ammo wagon was within 10 yards, not 1/2 mile away.

But still it is a perfect idea instead of the battery or the wagon moving you could do like from a real battle where troops had to run around and it will make the scenarios more chaotic like gettysburg you know couriers troops running around and so on.

As if my opinion matters, I would actually vote for a simpler system for supply... or at least no more complicated than it is in TC2M. I don't see the resupply wagon as a literal object in the game; more as a representation of where you, as the commander, want to focus your quartermaster's efforts. I would hate to have to spend my time clicking a resupply button on each gun!
If I were to ask for anything it would be a quicker representation of what units are in resupply range of a wagon. Perhaps a ranging circle drawn on the ground. And, as other's have noted, an easy way to tell the supply state of each unit without having to click through them. Maybe an overlay on all the units that pops up if you press and hold the TAB key, or some other way that doesn't clutter the screen unless you want it to.

In TC2M, I TC every battery, so if there was a resupply button on that battery...
