Turning on more Verbose Logging - SoW G has stopped working

Post by BoldRover »

Hi all,

I've just reinstalled SoWG, SoWA, SoWC again but my game crashes "SoW G.exe has stopped working" in singleplayer mode scenario of Chancellorsville:

W7 SP3 compatibility mode on.
GCM installed.
Pea Ridge installed.
CV03-May1-To The Sound Of The Guns (C-Div)
W8.1

Windows event log doesn't give me much to go on (cf infra). I need to test more but would like more verbose logging turned on since the sow-logs I can find do not contain much to go on neither.

Is there a way to turn on more verbose logging? (note: searching the forum for "verbose" only leads to a SoWW review)

Thanks in advance.

In Win10 you also need to check the box 'Run this program as an administrator'. Might be worth a try as well in Win8.
