Texture Packer

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

I believe it is in bits and pieces, and spread over the years. So, off the top of my head, and briefly:

- Bulk convert sheets to PNG if not already
- Break down to individual frames; I use Paint.net, animation plug-in FREE
- Name and number frames, numbers must have 4 digits,ex. 0001; Renamer app FREE
- Pack and Save to ...\Graphics\Packed
- Convert to DDS

Study and learn the process through the csv files associated with packing; ask questions :)

The instructions are in the SDK document (near the bottom if I recall). Yes they are pretty general in places, but if you follow them closely (and you can ask questions here) you'll succeed.

I still have to refer back to the SDK instructions, and I've probably packed textures a couple dozen times.
