Hello
I've tried to play the Allied Cavalry scenario (Waterloo Battles section)
and the French defense of Plancenoit both of these freeze up the game
and I have to get out of the game. The Infantry scenarios give me no
problems. I can't report an error, at least none appeared.
What information about how is SOWW set up on my PC and any mods are running ?
What information do you need about my PC ?
sorry I'm asking the questions out loud

Scenarios are still freezing up even after the last game update + Quatre Bras
I unchecked all modifications and reduced Graphic settings
I have a AMD Phenom(tm)II x6 1090T processor 3.21 GHz quad core
8 GB RAM
64 bit operating system
AMD Radeon HD 5800 Series Graphic card
ASUS Xonar Essence STX Audio Device
AMD High Def Audio Device.

That setup should be sufficient to run SOW with full graphics. Could you please post your sowwl.log file, located in Documents/sowwl?

Thanks RebBugler,
as you see at the bottom : as the courier arrives stops (in the smaller infantry scenario a
window opens with dispatch) no HQ dispatch opens in a window, and the game freezes
sounds still play, I can move the mouse cursor but all else freezes up.
I unchecked all the mods in the mod window so I don't know why they show up in the Launch sequence...

You are using a very old version of the KS mod. It will not work with the latest game patch, (Version 1.01). Download the newest version of the mod at the KS forum and all will be well.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

I tried the:
renaming music file (on the page 2 issues) no resolution
changing full screen=1 to full screen=0 (already at full screen=0)
changed full screen=1 no resolution (changed the ini file back to original state)
and to reply to Marching thru Georgia
KS Forum (Kriegspiel ?) no connection ??
maybe you have a link for the KS mod ?

You have to log onto the forum in order for the links to become active.
You will need to download all three parts of the mod as yours are all out of date, KS Sprites 1.02, KS Supplemental Maps 1.13 and KS Napoleon Mod II 1.21.

I found it soon after my internet server became operational again :laugh: and
downloaded the new mods from Uncle Billy deleted the old ones, and placed the new ones
in the SOWL Mods folder.
I opened the game and ticked the 3 mods (?)
started the scenario that's hanging up the game when the courier arrives
well ...sad news is its still hanging up the game. :blink:
