The WINTER WAR II CAMPAIGN SIMULATION

THE WINTER WAR II campaign simulation is now under way. The morning phase of the first day of the campaign has seen skirmishing on the Hampshire and Morgan Turnpike, fighting at Three Churches and Romney, and a raid behind Federal lines by Ashby's Cavalry. Some elements of the sim can be seen on Sim Blog.

The Federals are on the move in the morning of Day One of the Campaign. A Union Brigade has just Taken Three Churches, an objective in the campaign. But they weren't able to take it before retreating Confederates destroyed a supply depot that they had established there.

At five in the evening on Day One of the Campaign, Anderson arrives and attacks at the Miles Farm

Where can one download this mod/maps?

I had almost forgotten about that one. It was a simulation using a historical order of battle (Romney-Bath Campaign), but having the "what if" factor of players engaging (which didn't happen much in Jackson's January 1862 Campaign). It is all in TC2M, not SOW. The maps and mod stuff is all on the same blog as the AAR on the page that says TC2M mods.

We are currently running another campaign simulation that has large armies formed into OOB's using a "fantasy football" sort of draft. It is called The North Branch Campaign Simulation and is also uses TC2M as the platform:
