What formats can be used for creating object libraries?
I suspect that .3ds files are OK, but it looks like only archaic Power Render .pro is accepted.
I have no way of producing a .pro

Re: Models for Lstudio
Not sure if this will help, but the first Power Render Program that was used in TC2M was the PR 5.09
It did contain a ( .pro ) Edit Program - I never used it, so I have no idea on how it works.
Check this Link below:
https://archive.org/details/tucows_2236 ... _3D_Engine
It will Install the PR 5.09
I am surprised that it is still available - it disappeared from the Internet years ago and nobody from the older days of TC2M could find it.
Directory to use the ProEdit Application
PR5Trial \ Utility \ ProEdit
Click ProEdit Application - Wait 5 Seconds - has to do with Trial Version
Click - Continue without Registering
To Open a ( .pro ) file - I just "copied \ extracted" a house.pro file from the game into that directory.

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!
Re: Models for Lstudio
Thanks.
The exe flags as a threat in my anti-virus, so I'm not sure.
Appreciate you trying to help though.

Too Late, for "Me", considering that I Installed it!Thanks.

But, I run dual HDD - without any "Anti-Virus-Software" - So, if I do get a virus, I just copy My main programs back to the Main HDD - and start the process all over.
I think that the "Whole Internet" - is one form of a virus or the next.

It's probably fine.
Old archived files can flag just because they are unknown. But they can also be hijacked by nefarious people.

Several years ago, Several People couldn't Install the SOWWL because their Computer flagged it!It's probably fine.

But, considering that only a thousand people have downloaded that PR5 Program in ten plus years, and there are 7 Billion people on the planet, hacking that program would be a complete waste of Computer Skills.

Re: Models for Lstudio
True enough.
I would like to be able to add some models, so I will check out the software.
Thanks again.

Re: Models for Lstudio
I looked at the PR5 software linked by Davinci.
The included version of Proedit is not really an editor, it is more of a viewer. It cannot manipulate mesh or assign textures using UV maps (as far as I can see).
It can save existing models as type .pro, including .3ds conversion.
But although it loads some simple .3ds models provided as examples, it crashes when loading any .3ds that I have made.
So it seems we are back in fussy format territory again.
