Les Paul died today of pneumonia at age 94.
He changed music as we know it, by making the guitar, electric.
Not to mention how good a player he was.
I thought it was worth posting.

I'm just thankful that I was able to see him perform live (at a small club in NY) with my father. RIP Les.
Also, he invented multi-track recording. Single most important figure in the history of recorded music? Probably.

My 1973 Les Paul Custom Deluxe Cherry Sunburst finish, God I love that thing, will have a black bow on it for some time. I got a chance to hear him in NYC a few times. What a great musician. He will be missed.

Truly one of the greatest innovators in the history of the electric guitar. God Speed Les and enjoy the jam.
