Avatar question

Post by Ephrum »

I uploaded a new avatar today, but I found a better one.

When I delete the current avatar and upload the new one, the new one doesn't upload and it goes back to the current avatar.

I've tried images that are a smaller file size. I've even deleted the file for the current avatar from my computer, and it still comes up when I try to upload a new one.

Any suggestions?

I have no idea how that all works. Did you hit refresh on your browser? I see a blue background with a white tree.

Hey Ephrum & Norb,

I have noticed the same thing when I have changed avatars.

It seems to be a delay when choosing a new one and deleting the old one.

The new avatar does eventually show up.

I have changed them a few times.

The refresh button! What a concept!!

Up to this point, I don't think that has ever been used on my computer.

That was almost too easy.

It did the trick. It even updated the Forum page a little!

Thank you Norb!

i've also found that changing avatars takes a while for the website to catch up; even hitting refresh / flushing cache / rubbing head while patting stomach / etc. doesn't seem to help much; but eventually it gets refreshed, at least on the PCs i use....
