Might post it here since it's the same scenario.
The cavarly doesn't want to stay dismounted and seem to think that running away is a good idea.
And it crashed a few minutes in when I was constantly trying to get them off their saddles.
Ah, I was waiting for the first report of this! Devin's Cavalry brigade is supposed to act that way. This was setup this way to simulate how it was in the real battle. Devin's regiments were not heavily involved in the engagement, so they are set to want to retreat very easily. It adds to the challenge. If you really want them to stay and fight, you have to TC them. :)

About the crash, see if you can reproduce.. If it happens every time, report back.

Ah well that wasn't the reason then. Those regiments are under Gamble. It must have been the fatigue/morale, enemy artillery, or something else. If used right, Calvary can be devastating to the enemy. Those repeaters are lethal.

As stated in the original message from Devin to Buford.
Devin is withdrawing to the north on Gettysburg, not retreating. ;)

Well as I said, they aren't under fire or even in combat.

Are you sure it wasn't Devins regiments? Gambles should not act that way unless they were under fire.. Gambles brigade is a tough bunch of fellas. Unless something was changed, I've never had a problem with them retreating. I'll have to test it out when I get home.

I had them move around a bit on me, but I TC'd them and they stayed put where I wanted them. TC = the Take Command button.

Yeah I removed AI control from them and they actually stood and fought.
Quite a while too they did.
