Wow, what a difference !

I received my 2, 1 Gig sticks of RAM today, a total of 4 GIG in my machine.

No freezes or pauses during heavy fighting in Scenario #5.. Though I got beat by the entire Reb Army !!!! :huh: :blink:

Even when I resigned from the game, normally I could not do anything for a few minutes as the game was unloading from memory.

Now with 4 GIG, I was able to start writing this instead of waiting to write !!!!

This was a great investment for a great game !!!

I just bought a new laptop... went from a dual core 2.6ghz laptop with 4 gigs of RAM and a 256 MB video card... to a laptop with the new i7 chip, 8 gigs of RAM, and a 1 gig video card... WOW what a difference. I can play now with max settings and no slow down during huge battles. It's great!
