I don't mean to offend anyone and I hope I'm not off base, but I really don't understand the purpose of this thread. It's a game, it's meant to be played.. You challenge yourself, you get experience and skill which will allow you to beat the scenario's, in which you are rewarded with unlocking more. If they were all unlocked, then where's the challenge and fun in it? It would be like if you were a kid again, and you discover your Christmas presents in your parents closet a month before Christmas. :)

Hi.

I stopped playing the scenario's because I'm no good at all with having to handle the larger scenario's. I have found commanding anything larger than a brigade becomes extremely frustrating.

bye..

Then get back on your horse soldier and keep at it!

(or just have someone zip up their work/saved games/cont folder and send it to you)

You should play the pickett's charge that was released in the last patch.

I second Norb, try the new mod Pickett's Charge, look in 'User Scenarios'. There are over a dozen (maybe 2 dozen, I haven't counted) brigade level options within that one scenario, and, you can play either side. This is available with the latest patch.

mikesla, and others - Is there a particular brigade sized battle you are wanting to play? Since there are already two mod scenario's out (I'm actually surprised no one has made more yet) then who's to say someone can't make more... ;)

Interesting! Just tried to play Kemper's Brigade, started the game, and I felt like Col. Freemantle...observing my "selected" brigade moved across the field while I just sat and watched!

Yes, they are scripted to move and attack just as they did in the historic scenario's. Or you can choose to TC them and order them to do as you wish. :)

This is a special type of scenario that allows you to play anyone, so everyone is scripted with their historical moves. It's sort of nice, because you can stick with the first orders and then take it from there, or halt and do your own thing.

Have to laugh at myself. Was unaware of this "twist" as I sat on my steed awaiting orders, when, all of a sudden, I was moving forward! Damn smart horse, that one!
