Ok now, are we who downloaded the game, going to get these extra features like the 5 sprite packs, maps etc,and are we also going to be able to get a cd as well? One more thing could someone post some screens of these sprites packs that would be cool.

You will need to buy the CD version of the game to get the bonus content, printed manual, etc.

ok,this works out at about 35gbp which considering we get a disc, manual, box and some extras makes it a much more tempting buy.the download version wasnt because old luddites like my mates and me prefer something physical to own, which wont vanish if you should lose a hard drive for instance.
two questions,im assuming the disc will work in the uk,you know format and all that?(told you, luddite!)
and is it possible to pay via something like paypal?

I do not believe that there is a different format for data discs around the world. I think we're all on the same format. There's only one build of the game, so I'm guessing that the CDROM will work anywhere.
The purchase is through the paypal system, there you can login and use a paypal account or just pay by credit card. I guess is that didn't work for someone they could mail us a check, but it's going to take a while.

Yeah IIRC, the their are different formats of DVD's around the word, but I believe that CD-ROM's are the same all around.

But that would be for movie DVD's. I'm thinking that data DVD's would be the same too. It's just a storage container. So if we burned to CD or DVD, it wouldn't matter. Your reader would see it as a data disc and load the autorun.inf no matter what.

Ahhh that's right. Yeah I think the format only matters with DVD
Movie Players.

I apologize if this has already been addressed somewhere else, but what is the extra content on the SOWGB disk version?
