I am not experienced but enjoyed my first battle in GCM. It was daunting playing with 9 other people (in case I screwed up) but I don't think there's anything about the mod that is more difficult than playing MP in other way.

We could try a short GCM battle for a few players at a convenient time for Europeans?

We have fought our first battle in the GCM too, mean it was battle520 a few weeks ago.

Blau, have you gotten on the teamspeak server many of us use? That is always a good place to check and see if people are around to play. There should be maybe a European player or two as well as a couple of American slackers.

Did you play a campaign game, I assume? I wouldn't worry about it too much, with troops as green as you start with (and frankly the ones we still have with many battles played), it's all just a slugfest at this point. You should've seen the last "campaign" when new guys would come in and lose 50%+ of their division the first time out.

Sorry to hear you'll be up early, but I am usually around evenings and weekends so I will no doubt run into you at some point in the future.
