Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Name the actor who played the role of Gen. Custer, in the movie "Little Big Man".
Which starred Dustin Hoffman.
Richard Mulligan. He later went on to star in the comedy series "Soap" in the 1970's.

His performance as Custer in "Little Big Man" (which, incidentally is my 2nd all time favorite movie) was hilarious & top notch!:)

I think it was a fantastic movie to Sarge! I knew you'd know the answer!B)

Mulligan was great! I can still quote most of his lines! I loved Chief Dan George in it! One of the few movies that could make me just crack up, and in a matter of minutes, have me in tears of saddness and outrage.

Here's a clue......the actor went on to portray a lawman in one of the longest prime time drama series in tv history.

That, my friend, was a lucky guess! I had a hard time remembering his name. I almost wrote Matt Dillon!
Speaking of Gunsmoke, quick question. Is the guy that played Festus, the same guy who played Ernest T. Bass, in the Andy Griffith show?

No. Festus was played by Ken Curtis - 1916-1991 (who was also an acomplished western vocalist) in the show "Gunsmoke". He also had parts in "The Searchers", "The Quiet Man" and "The Alamo", all with John Wayne.
Character actor Howard Morris portrayed Ernest T. Bass in the "Andy Griffith Show".
