it's tricky. i play the full army vs. army on the large gettysburg map all the time. you just need to keep restarting the the match till you get no overlap. this is limiting still because there is only 1 setup that works ( the armies facing each other, one in the east the other in the west). that;s without the mod .

I don't see why a change to the men per sprite would change the size of the grid in sandbox.
