I'm pretty sure that's in there as events. You should really read our sdk documentation

I understand what your saying Reb, but what I am getting at is, as an example, we at division level are able to send a brigade commander and his brigade to hold that point so we can get the victory points, now, just think of this at the brigade level, sending two regiments, using a commander from one of those regiments to hold that point so we can get those victory points. It`s a little hard to explain, beings at brigade level, we do not get to see the regimental commanders with their units.

Dang, I can never get the edit to work.
I just wanted to say, if this is way more work than what it is worth Reb, then disregard what I said above. And thanks for the reply.

I don’t play any of the scenarios so if this is off target, well disregard it!
If the objectives are triggered by a certain amount of troops, along with a officer, but there are not enough officers to go around, why not just increase the radius of the officers.
I had to do this for my Open Play games, when I increase the distance between the regiments, some of them would not be in the radius of their commander.

Pretty sure the 'Detach Brigade' command does what you're asking.

I too am interested in making this happen. For scenario scripting I'd like invisible waypoints that would trigger events when troops come within a certain range of them, with or without officers. It's on my wish list...here's hoping.

Securing invisible objectives without an officer? ...Musta missed that there big worded page.

That's not what your post said, you said "trigger events when troops come withing a certain range of them" that is currently supported as far as I know. It's an event and it's triggered when a unit approaches and can then issues any commands that you want. We used these a ton in tc2m, so I made sure to include them in this sdk. But I'm not sure they've been tested.

Agreed, the trigger events work for the most part, however, many do need an accompanying officer at present to activate.
Never mind about the invisible objectives, I just scripted one for testing, and it works. Just got to get it in the stock gfx file. And another however, this Stealth objective appears on the mini map, and would probably have to be addressed by a certain CodeWarrior to be really invisible.

Hi.
So as it stand at this moment, and time there will be no fixes or additions made to allow for someone like myself who commands at brigade level to hold more than one VP? Will this be addressed in the future?
Cheers.
