Look at the pattern. It's a hierarchy. A 0 means that person can give orders to everyone below him. So Howard can give orders to everyone. Doubleday everyone below him. Wadsworth everyone below him. Meridith everyone below him, which is the 19th Indiana. The 19th Indiana is the low man on the totem pole.I know I'm not explaining this properly because I just don't understand it. Here is where I am running into problems. It's where who commands who, and what do the numbers mean?
