Man how I feel like a bumbling idiot, I finally remembered I changed my aicount under debug mode. I had it set for 85 while I was testing out something which would have caused allot of my fps problems. I know why 85? well because I'm me...

Now mind you I didn't have this set in version 1.3, only in 1.03.010 (still can't figure out why 1.3 caused me such a loss of fps).

Question Davinci, could you post one of your oob's so I can give it a test drive? I would like see if the number which works for you will work for me so I can get an idea where to start from.

I could, but it probably wouldn't work on your system, unless you have the same flags that I'm using.

You can use any OOB and slightly modify it by adding or deleting brigades until to reach the amount of men that your Computer can handle.

But, that is still not your problem:

1) Reduce the percentage of trees showing.....this is one of the greatest hits on the fps.

2) Reduce the drawing distance of the men, and the crops.

Basically, if your firing distance is only say roughly 200 yards, why is it acceptable\ logical to view troops 1000 yards away from the action?.....You are wasting valuable processing cycles.....
