Good call. However, the AI won't use that formation, so I'm not too worried about it. Am in the middle of a decent battle, where I used an entire Brigade in Column of Divisions to storm a Battery position. They charge and then re-formed after the battery was taken. Latter, they were within musket range and formed line to open fire on their own. I'm guessing they would have opened fire from the Column if they could have.
