Just a heads up:
if we are trying to do the 11 hr scenario, Beef, Hancock and I tried last night and it crashed every time. Might have to do with beefs loading problems or mod conflicts but it may also be due to the amount of troops on the battlefield. We will see.
Keep us posted on this. If it is performance related (yes there are A LOT of troops on the map) after lowing the host graphics options, try reducing the Sprite Ratio in the MP options. Start with SR10 and see what that does.

By the way, we were operating with around 70-80,000 troops in the 20+ player battle I mentioned in the post above...it was an awesome experience, battlelines stretching beyond the horizon. Goota love this game ;)

I just have to say that the MP games of late have been exceptionally good and challenging. Except for a few minor glitches, the MP games have been very stable.

I encourage anyone who has interest to come on out and try some games. We have played more historical games of late.

In my estimation, we have not even scratched MP potential.

No luck whatsoever getting 11 hour scenario to run.
We would load then freeze at 4 seconds

Bummer, it must be all the troops.. There are over 100,000..

Have you tried raising the sprite ratio? Maybe start at SR20 and work your way down.

Please let me know how that goes.. We were never able to test large games with the MP scenarios, so you guys are sort of our testers in the field for this.

With the community for multiplayer growing very quickly again like it is at the moment , this might be a good time for some of your test team/team to come on in like before and jump in the odd battle, obviously time permitting(surely you can discuss this and find suitable members for the task and coordinate times).Being the first attempt at ACW multiplayer on this scope with all this new ground to feel out maybe a closer link between MP and the testers is needed. :)
The simulation at that level is quite something to see and id think it would be very important to you guys to see this first hand and understand what develops and on what scale.
Thanks for everything youve brought to us at MP and i hope to a great new year for NSD and all connected.
As for me, after such a fine run of holiday battles and ACW banter with so many new members i think its time to call the roll and give the boys a hard earned furlough.....then again i can hear those cannon firing in the distance...which way are they coming this time? can we shore it up? Whos division do those colours belong to ? Hold fast boys! here we go again....

Did someone convert the 11 hour scenario to MP? If so, maybe a conversion error. Did you try the included Antietam MP scenario? Did you turn off all mods?
