I much prefer February as only us hard core guys are out. Nothing like 39 degree water and 24 degree air. You put your hands in the water to warm them up. How strange is that???
Ha! This confirms my suspicion most everyone here is nuts in their own special way!

The progress report is that we are making good progress. There is a lot of grinding work at this time getting sections built and tested and fixed and retested and fixed again. For example Norb has just made a breakthrough in coding for more complex formations. Now we have to test how the code works with the csv files, and adjust so that it works as intended. As JC says, it is a lot of testing and retesting to get this up to our standards.

In the art dept we too are making great progress. Presently we are adding art for some new features/screens. At lot of the art is also at that nice stage where we can sit back and look at it and polish and enchance bits we weren't happy with. Its an ongoing process really but it is really coming together nicely. I think we should release the maps as a hiking game where you simply walk across the landscape they are that beautiful :P All down to Eric and Derek!

Thanks for the updates. They are always appreciated. I'm sure I'll spend alot of time just using the maps to roam around the field. Having the maps be topographically very accurate will be especially nice for the peope who live too far from the battlefield to visit it. For those of us who live close enough to visit it whenever we want, the ability to visualize it closer to what it looked like in 186? will be great.

You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.
