Could I ask for an idiot's guide to using this?

I've put a SoWGB shortcut in the Game Booster GameBox.

So, to get it to do its stuff (switch off unnecessary processes) do I:

a) just launch SoWGB in the normal way (assuming Game Booster now knows to launch whenever I play SoWGB)
or
b) open the GameBox and click on the shortcut there.

Then, when I exit SOWGB, do I need to tell Game Booster to restore my processes or will it do it automatically cos I've left SOWGB??

MTIA for any answers.

Jeff

Blaugrana,

In Game Booster, just highlight the SOWGB.exe and click on "Boost & Launch" and it will do it's thing.

When you end the game, it will automatically restore all programs back to normal.

Update - I think you can also just doubleclick (IIRC)the SOWGB.exe icon in Game Booster and it will start... I am at work or I would test it...

It works fine Redcoat. Like Chamberlain has said I run certain software that is not compatible with some of the services which Windows has automatically running, such as XAMPP, Synchronet (BBS Software), and of course my cursed dial up connection which will haunt me till I look like an old dried up apple doll.

You don't need to worry about anything redcoat, you will be fine.

The software works very well actually no problems on my end with it. :)
my dear sir, speak not to me of dialup!my thrice accursed jumped up never to come down illegitimate son of a dung eating goat of an internet connection fires along at a blistering 3 (count them!)mps, and is therefor about as much use as a chocolate teapot, which makes online play a joke and steam becomes the devils own dangleberrys! cheers

Can anyone help with this?

If I have TeamSpeak on, then launch SoWG via Game Booster, Game Booster switches TeamSpeak off.

Is there a way to configure Game Booster to allow TeamSpeak?

I'm baffled.

Open up Gamebooster, select configure, find where Teamspeak is listed, and make sure that you un-tick (remove the checkmark)it. When you start the game you now be able to run the game with teamspeak without it being disabled.

Just make sure that 1: there is no checkmark in the small box beside the Teamspeak listing.
2: Save your new config..

:)
