This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.
They must be talking about his toolbar. C'mon guys, get it right. Proper terminology is key!
I mean, his tool box is this super secret set of tools that allows you mod every single aspect of the game, including the source code.. Heck you can quickly and easily replace the Rebels with Star Wars Rebels, and the Yankees with Evil Galactic Empire sprites.. Want an Army of Wookies? Use Rebbugler's Tool Box!

Any chance of someone addressing the actual reason for this thread, namely my problem of the game crashing when any mod is activated? Or is that too much to ask?

You could read post #8 and #9.. Or is that too much to ask?
Well if you'd read the original post, and #3, you'd see I'm running v1.4005 and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling mods, and restarting the game multiple times, so yes, I'm still having problems.
Your log file shows many files are missing or corrupted. Try downloading the full game and installing that over your current version. Disable all mods first. If the game runs, install the latest patch and you should be back on the battlefield.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.
Like I've said, game runs fine with no mods on, but when I turn on either RebBugler's tool bar, or the GCM toolbar, or the GCM terrain mod (which is basically just Jolly's tree mod) the game will crash as soon as a battle starts.
Yes, with any of them enabled, it crashes as soon as I "hit the space bar to continue".
And yes, I've tried redownloading the mods. I wonder if copying the mods from my laptop and moving them over would work, since everything still works fine on that machine... now I gotta find my thumb drive.
Also, wouldn't hurt to post a shot of your folder structure in your mods. It could be they aren't installed correctly, even though I'm sure you have experience with installing them.. But hard crashes like that indicate corruption or files out of place..
