All,

Think I found the problem re: skirmishers - There is no "Lv16 infantry may skirmish etc..." lines. Lvl5, Lvl4, etc infantry all have them but Lvl6 does not. That may be part of the problem. Still can't find the buttons aspect of the toolbar.

Oh yes, sorry. That would be in the drills.csv file in the Logistics folder.

They have simply been assigned the non-skirmish toolbar for lvl6. This should work to get the skirmish button back:
1) Open unitglobal in the Peninsular Mod
2) Goto row GB_RF, this is the Rifles unit.
3) Goto column GUI
4) Replace GUI_LINE_LVL6_Inf with GUI_CS_LVL6_Inf
5) Do the same for GB_LI and GB_KLI, these are other light infantry types

Hope that works. Its on the list to update.

Jack,
Yes I see the same courier problem when playing as either French or as British. As a brigade commander, I've never got an order, although other commanders seemed to (by their movements).

Also, when playing as Wellesley, I tried to send a courier with an movement and attack order to Hill. There was no courier that I saw, but Hill changed instantly from Hold to Attack and his destination marker was as I had ordered. Just some evidence to the mystery.

Still, this is (will be)a great, great mod. My favorite so far. I wish there was some way I could help with a map, but that's just not realistic.

Gun,

Yes, I changed those values and I have the 95th., (and others), running about nicely in (my modded) skirmish order. Thanks. Back to the Battle. Have already modded the Vimiero_SR8 OOB - Added two Division Commanders to Wellesley's Army to help with Command and Control. LOL! Next I'm gonna break down the Rifle battalions into company units soeach Division, (or maybe Brigade), has a small rifle unit attached. I seem to recall that was Wellesley's tactical doctrine to offset the French skirmishers.

Tac,

I can't figure this out at all. I have studied the OOB inputs for the couriers, changed some values, even tried substituting the values from the original Road to Wagram Mod and - nothing. I'm pissed now so I've GOT to figure it out. HA!

Do you have the courier formation in the drills.csv that you are using?

MTG,

I don't see it, BUT, I didn't see one in the original Road to Wagram Mod, either.

Hmm i can see the courier problem not sure whats gone wrong yet. I have noticed that the FR_Courier and GB_Courier in the OOBs have the wrong formations, they were also set to a strength of 0. So i copied the the courier lines from a Road to Wagram OOB but doesnt seem to of had any effect.

In column R of the OOB there should be a formation listed for the courier. In the SOW OOBs it is the supply wagon formation. That formation, whatever you call it, should be in drills.csv.

I'm sure you've already checked, but the courier is its' own corps.

Gun,

Yes, I did that too. No effect.

MTG,

Yes, saw that supplywagon. Found that weird. AND, having changed god-knows how many OOBs, the one constant is the last Corps is always the Courier on it's own.

In that case, it may be that the corps/division/brigade/regiments numbering in the OOB has a mistake. I had that happen once. If I remember correctly, I had skipped a division number. It didn't crash the game, but there were no couriers. There, I've given you another straw to grasp.
