As Con20or says, the shout radius is hardcoded. The current distance is fine IMHO. The only reason I can think of to enlarge it is to get rid of the flood of return receipt courier messages every time you give an order to a regiment. That does break the flow of the game, especially during the heat of battle when the player may be issuing a flurry of orders. Having a switch to turn off just the regimental replies would alleviate the problem.

Whoops - missed this post.

The old courier message mod is just a nice piece of eye candy Davinci and Born2See made where it changes the look of the message. Now it now looks more like an old crinkled piece of parchment with handwriting on it, rather than a computer generated message.

It's available as a single download, but i amalgamated it as part of this mod too.

Edit: I had it's name wrong, I've renamed it in the first post. here's the link to the original, a must have.

I'm not exactly sure, what does the one that you have look like?

I might have changed the font it's been a while since I've messed with it!

Click on the link two posts above - I dont have the game here to check but I'm 99% sure it's the font thats in the first post.

This new font although harder read is more realistic.

There's hardly a 'writing in the saddle' font out there is there? Or did you make it...:)

Yeah, I like this one better due to the fact that it's not all nice and neat!

It resembles the font that displays when the SOWGB game starts.

Hey, but you can add \ remove \ modify - any part of it to fit into the Realism Mod that you are making. If you run into any problems just post back. It's been a while since I've modded it, but I should be able to assist you.

Next on my list is to fix up the binoculars/telescope mod we were looking at ages ago. My understanding of the csv's has improved alot so I hope to be able to get it working.

I like the look of it, and the reduced FOV when zooming is more realistic than the current Opto Goggles all commanders wear.

@con20or - Here is the file, once again - add \ remove \ modify - any thing you like to include into your mod!

I still don't have a very good exit out of it, I have to click on one of the (yellow) button's (I forgot what they are called) and then click the (zoom) key to go back to the regular view.

Hopefully, you can come up with a better system.
