Haaaaa, I have often thought of getting one of those (a life). Tolerate? Join the club, I have a hard time stomaching the thought of having to sit with myself all day. :laugh:

I hope not, since I just joined up! I've lurked around here too long, and I've been through every patch, expansion, and mod with you guys. I was here when Michael and Born2See were relatively new members. I guess it really doesn't make any difference whether it's here, or Matrix, but this place is special. This is the place where the grizzled veterans helped the game grow into what it is now. I sort of like being the newest member of the Old Guard.

I'm all for freedom of the press here, but this thread is causing unnecessary angst. Look at TC2M, it's still alive, and it's a totally unsupported game. Compared with SOW, it's mod process is a nightmare, it's maps look like golf courses, it's full of bugs, stable bugs though, for it rarely crashes, and yet, the loyal few that reside there, luv it. Plus, it being a $10 game, and free if you know the process :whistle: ...can't be beat anywhere for the enjoyment and satisfaction that it can still provide. This in itself, provides a continuous flow of new recruits, many of which, eventually leave it and migrate here.

So, please calm down, SOW is here to stay, as long as Norb is running the show and has the final say. This poll has to do with nothing, it's just helping someone 'Have a Life', beyond real life.

Rebbugler is right, I only posted this to (not to get a life, I already have one, and quite happy with it) have a serious discussion of what the future would hold, I didn't say that it would fizzle out. Like Rebbugler said, as long as Norb is in charge things will only change for the better, not get worse.

If I knew this was going to cause this sort of trouble I would not have posted this.

So I am asking/requesting that this thread be deleted before it does any more damage.

Honestly, dude, why aren't the NSD team sending everyone over here and saying this is the forum the dev team hangs out, so come here to have your queries answered?

Splitting the community is silly. I don't have time enough in the day to visit other forums when everything I need is here.

I agree with you saddletank, I'm jumping between the two which is something I rarely do if ever. I don't know maybe I'm just being lazy.
