The Courier&Maps Mod, found in the Modifications section will do that plus add many other commands. They did this very well, only thing I would like to see changed in it, is a few more options, i.e. move your unit 100 yards forward, instead of the standard 300 yards. There are times when I don't need a unit to move that far, i.e. from a covered position behind a hill to on top of the hill in order to put flanking fire on a unit crossing in front of them.

Adding to what MTG posted above, check the SOWGB\Work \ folder - for the defaultkey.csv file, and the keyboard.csv file.I would like to see changed in it, is a few more options, i.e. move your unit 100 yards forward, instead of the standard 300 yards. Changing the keyboard.csv file will allow you to mod how far the units move in advance.
If I remember correctly the default.csv file is just used as a sort of backup if you changed the keyboard file. So, don't change both of them in case something goes wrong!
Or to put this another way.....try changing the lines in the keyboard.csv from 300yds to something like 50 yards to see if that works.
Example:
All Advance,NUMPAD5,Amoveformfwd:300:0
To:
All Advance,NUMPAD5,Amoveformfwd:50:0
I'll never edited those lines - but I think that it should work!

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!
