Sorry I've been away for a bit. Darn work again. I hate it when work interferes with my gaming! However, I can now enjoy the next 6 days off!

I am going to try to reinstall my game, and not use the beta patch, to see if it IS the beta patch or some system configuration causing the game to crash. If I can not find a solution, I will send the requested file for you guys to check out.

I downloaded the 1.6 patch and when I get the first courier message the game goes black on me now. I should have quite while I was ahead. How do I uninstall the 1.6 patch? I tried installing the 1.5 again, but it still shows as 1.6 in game.

This is odd, unless you started a scenario that begins at night.

Please elaborate and attach your SOWGB.log file found in your work folder.

Also, did you crash?

That was my first thought also! But once I took off my dark sunglasses I still couldn't see anything but a black screen . . then I waited a few hours to sober up from the moonshine I had been drink'n and still couldn't see anything! I tried using white-out to lighten up the screen a bit, but unfortunately, it didn't work either! I am in a real quandry!
