NO buildings or fences

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

I tried setting MPobjlevel=3 and that didn't have any effect. I also re-downloaded the game from the download link that came in the email, reinstalled the game and still the same thing - no buildings or fences.

Try this - dis-able all of the Mods and then load a Open Play \ Sandbox game.

Don't load a Scenario - just a regular game.

I just tried this so it did work for me.

Move the SOWGB.ini file from SOWGB\Work folder to the Desktop and then Start the game.

The game will create another SOWGB.ini file which should put your game in Window\Mod with default settings.

This should have the houses and fences showing without changing anything!

I just found the problem. I was running the DEBUG version of Direct3D (I'm a developer). I set it to the RETAIL version and now buildings and fences show up properly.

Whoa, now that's definitely one I haven't seen. Glad you got it figured out.
