Wood Toolbar

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

A wooden over-lay over the buttons.

Thoughts!

looks great...I've downloaded but won't have a chance to "test" today; have an online game later and until i'm sure about either Wood Toolbar (or B&F14 for that matter) I don't want to risk having an "online problem"...(but I must admit I don't really understand how/why toolbars can impact online play anyhow?)...

ok, I've installed both the WoodToolbar and WoodToolbar2:
- the Wood TB seems to be fine and looks like the image above
- the Wood TB2 does not have (that I can see) any of the icons (to L of the compass) that your image below shows? my two TB's look the same, is there something else I need to "turn on" to generate those missing icons/features?
- also, any reason why either of these can't be used online in MP? I know, for some reason, the B&F14 does not seem to work online, even if everyone is using it...so I was wondering if there might be any issues like that with either of these? (since most my games now are online)

thanks!

I just checked the download, everything appears to be correct.
Deactivate the first one as that might be what is causing the problem.

I'm not sure, I have never played the game online.

I'll add that the Toolbar is still the default size, nothing has been altered except the facing, so it should work just as the default one works.

Toolbar 1 was already deactivated when I tried Toolbar2, but none of the icons I see here (in this post) show up on my screen at all...

Do you have a way to open the file and to view it?

These are the icons that we are discussing correct?

Does the file look just like this one?

yes, when I open/view Toolbar.dds (in my Toolbar2 Mod folder) I see those...but when "in the game" (with no other mods on) I do not see any of those icons you circled in red...

Is this an Open-Play game or one of the default scenarios?

Perhaps, a default scenario will prevent a Toolbar mod from displaying, I’m just guessing here due to the fact that I have no idea why we are seeing two different things.

yes, it was a custom scenario...I do see the "wood toolbar", just not any of the extra icons...(and all the other mods I have seem to work with my custom scenarios as well)

Well.....I have absolutely not good answer to tell you, I just tried it using the first scenario that I clicked on.
The icons show-up just as they do when I play an Open-Play-type of battle.
