Try a ( different ) OOB, the crash seems to occur from another source, not the Map in question!

It works with different oob. It will not work with the three scenarios that came with the mod or sandbox oob with the mod.

Try these!
You will have to overwrite the previous ones, so move them somewhere else!

No, guarantee on these, I sort of got tired of trying too figure this out!

Also - Had to remove certain flags that were causing a crash!

Also - had to change certain formations that were causing a crash!

***Note - The Scenarios are only Playable from the Union-Side, not sure if that is by design!

It is possible that I just don't know how to change the side to that of the Confederates!
.........................................................................................
EDIT Post - You can change the ( Scenario.ini ) file inside of the Scenario folder which will allow you to Play as the Confederates.
I only changed the August 29th 1862 one, but the other ones should also allow for the same changes.
I never learnt how the Scenarios work, so it might be another way of doing this!

Davinci,
Yes you are restricted to 256,512,768,1024, etc. But, Norbsoft has been drawing their standard map off scale. (I posted this on the Gettysburg map too, and some other previous maps). This is true scale. I simply draw a 12 mile map on a 1024 x 1024 footprint. NSD draws a 10 mile map on a 1024 x 1024 footprint. In true scale a unit rated to move at 3 miles per hour, will march 3 miles in 1 hour. NSD maps: a unit rated a 3 miles per hour will march 2.5 miles. Their scale is set from an incorrect formula translation.
An argument I do not want to revisit with them again. This has been tested for a long time.

Thanks for the really great map! The undulating terrain is really spectacular and just 'feels' really right.

Does anyone have any or recommend any 1st Manassas OOBs?

OK, Understand!

But, the [UnitPerYard=30] which is the same value that NSD use, so what exactly is being changed?

I would think that that value would have to be changed to affect anything other than the size of the ( HeightMap ).

But, postpone this debate until you are feeling better, didn't you mention something about being ill?

Just the Height.tga needs changing...
All other settings are correct, as best that can be determined. (Eric did a good Job)

Sick, yep, a bit,... Cancer... Treatment is getting rough.

Attempting to make the roads and the creeks a little bit wider. I think it looks better even if it isn't 100% authentic.

"MarkT" - Question:

Did you have any problems with Saving the RGB Files at 4096x4096 ?

That file size caused several problems with trying to edit and save them. It took me several hours to figure out why Saving them were causing a crash.
