Major nations have complete armies minors have 1-3 corps each. A corps (nap style 2inf div 1 cav div) has approx 256Inf, 40 Cav, 1lt ,3 hvy gun, 4-5 officer, supply, casons, pack mules etc. Major countries vary (minor countries corps modeled after French corps.
Painted: French,Austrian,Russian,Prussian,Brits,Scots,Belgian,Dutch,Nassau,Brunswick,Hannover,KGL,Portugal,Saxony,Bavaria
Unpainted: Warsaw 2 corps, Naples 1 Corps, Nothern Italy 1 Corps, Spain 4 Corps (Can do Leipzig) (except swedes)

Other minis Civil War (can do any battle)
American Rev (can do any battle)
WWII Micro armour 1/285 scale
WWII 15mm Armour Russia/US /Germ/Brits
WWII 15mm infantry Russia/US /Germ/Brits/Japan
Plains indians / Cav (We all want to be Custer) Can you spell Fetterman?

That's an impressive collection. I have about 8,000 15mm Napoleonics (French, French Allies, Russians, Prussians & Austrians mostly). What's yer favorite rule set?

Age of Eagles is real good. I did a homegrown version of Fire and Fury first...
Wrote my own 10 years ago Have Empire, Napolionique, few others...

Terrain is my passion. totally flexable set up anything! 12' x 6'
Writing a strategic system (computer)... put on hold for a bit...

I'm a big fan of the 1813 campaign...umm...maybe a SUPER FANATIC about 1813. :woohoo:

I possess all the rule sets. My favorite set for the longest time was Napoleonic Houserules. Then I dabbled with Legacy of Glory a bit...then got bit by Valmy to Waterloo. Likes those best...reinforced with all the \"houserules\" that I collected along the way...of course.

Since War3D came on the scene in 2005, I haven't done much miniature play and haven't touched a paint brush either. In the virtual world though...its a different story.

I like Age of Empire for its simplicity / Brigade level, fast and accurate.
That is why I am so concerned about Infantry in this system... Its NOT like the civil War...
The cavalry is Obvious, but to the untrained eye, infantry is infantry. (its not just quality)

My Mini system is Age of Eagles not Age of Empire... What I particularly like is the treatment of infantry
Linear, Columnar and Impulse. Linear and Columnar are self explanitory, but impluse is a general term applied to better trained very flexible formations. Such as the French in 1805 and the Brits at Waterloo. Remember we are at Brigade level combat..
It is very playable, and the system runs very smooth.
