Finally made it over here

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Oh dear, that does'nt sound good for my situation, but I do also understand where you are coming from Norb, I don't have my own credit cards or money of my own due to my personal problems, so this is going to be tough as my Mother has to give the ok to things, and as she not long ago was a victim of credit card fraud and had £3,000 pounds taken, she is now a no go as far as online buying goes (I am not saying that you are untrustworthy Norb) but of course people are when having had that happen going to be very nervous, and now she only ever will deal with Stores, trouble also is that I have no effect on her when it comes to asking for things, no matter how much I explain, beg etc........

So its a sad time for me :(

But as I said before I do follow what you say Norb, and understand fully.

Thank you for letting me know anyway :)

We will find a way to get you the game, have no doubt. Even if I have to call your Mom :)

I too have had my card numbers stolen, it's part of the risk of buying online. I'm not sure how it works for you, but over here the card company takes care of everything. I've always gotten my money back.

But if a card is not an option, then we'll just have to figure out some other way to pay.

Hi Norb,

Well my Mum did get her money back, but it was long-winded and in the end we never got to know whow it was, just aswell as Mr hyde was ready for serious action, whoever it was mind must have had a great time, they used a travel agents and then a swanky hotel......these people need stringing up or worse  as you can gather my Mother and I am extremely sensitive :)

Here it is also a case of the card company dealing with it, but first they send you a form to fill in and told my Mother she would get the form in a couple of days, turned out to be 10 days!!! and then a further 3/4 weeks to sort it out, but in the end she was given it all back, but not before we had gotten into a right old state with it all.

May I ask if a manual like the one for TC2M will be made for the new game, or is that not possible? I suppose it can't be done due to the cost of it, I just find it hard to get used to games without manuals and if its on disk its even harder as I have to switch from in game to manual and back, don't have a printer you see :( used to but since I had XP and now Vista the Printer did'nt want to know, so into the Bin it had to go.

Still whatever the situation with the manual its a small price to pay for a game as great as this.......and I look forward to the day when I can play it :)

As Norb has said, how and by whom the game will be sold is still an open question. One thought was to have the basic price for the download option, which would include all files including the manual in PDF format. For box sales, we would simply increase the price by the cost of producing the box, disk & etc.

My question is how much extra would you be willing to pay for a printed manual?

Sarge is right, worry not about getting the game, If need be - I will personally pay for a disc version and have it shipped to you - and that is that.

Whatever the going rate is, I think a printed manual is a good idea - heck it's free advertising if it is lying around on a coffee table, and an owner has company over. Just my 2 cents.

i'm a big fan of games you can just download, it's nice to have the dvd or cd, but it's not at all a must.

just make sure the server is fast, so you can download it in less then an hour

Hello chantilly, yes I remember you and have good memories of you too!! sorry I had'nt kept in touch, but you know how it is, things happen and you just have to disappear for the time that it takes :(

I am a tad worried actually about Sarge, have not heard from him in a few days, and its not like him, then again I do worry easily about everything, hope he is alright thats all :) I emailed him twice although that's enough to drive anyone away!! even though he was kind enough to say that I could'nt (and Jekyll could'nt, but Hyde is different :(

Anyway before I alienate everyone from me totally back to the subject in hand:

The Manual, to me is very important as I find I have to constantly still refer to the TC2M one, and what a great manual it is too, I can't print anything as my PC and printers don't get along, yes my PC is possessed!!! so a manual would be important for me, as to how much I would be willing to pay, well that is not for me to decide as for

1. Sarge was the first to offer to get it for me and I don't want to add to his cost

and

2. Chantilly also offered (thank you so much) and the same reason applies to Chantilly

My god I feel like I am trying to get sympathy, and am a charity case, I feel so so ashamed, and yet it really is not like that, well those that know me and my circumstances well will understand that I am not trying to beg for peoples money and help with things, I'd rather die before I become like that!!

I can only thank all of you for your very kind offers and lets say that we will see how things go and leave the manual bit up to the chap/s involved, not my place to tell others what to do, its your money guys and if I must go without the manual then so be it, honestly :)

We do plan on a download version, I mean that's one of the advantages of PC games. The hard part is security. I promise not to use anything that installs anywhere but the game folder. I was surprised as everyone else on how intrusive securom was, so we won't go down that path again. There's a lot of options, but we have to have a game first.
