Nice title! More importantly, the game sounds like it should be a winner. Sure hope I have the rig to play it when it comes out!

We're putting in everything that we can think of to make sure it runs on as many machines as possible. It does run well on dual core computers bought today. We have also tested on many older machines. We'll make sure to have a demo so that you can try before you buy.

NSD - you need to change the link on the news page of the Official Game Site
You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

I have an HP AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core 5200+ 2.60 GHz Processor with 2 GiG and I consider this one of the older dual cores (bought it in '08). Any ideas on how it will run on my machine ?
TC2M has already ran well on it though sometimes when the fighting got hot & heavy with alot of troops, it could get a little bumpy.
Thanks

It will probably run about the same, bumpy on large battles.

Yep, you'll be fine. You'll just have to scale the graphics back a little on the larger scenario's (adjust drawing distance, thin out the trees).norb wrote:Hey Norb,It does run well on dual core computers bought today. We have also tested on many older machines.

Re:NorbSoftDev Announces Series Title
So what would a computer require to run the new game, with all the bells and whistles, not having anything turned back or off, even during MP, for the game to run smoothly?

Ephrum, I have a 3.0 DC, 3GB of Ram, an ATI 4870 512MB, and I vary rarely see any hitches. But the most I test on is Corps size battles. With everything on high, I will go between 10 to 24 FPS, usually it runs around 14 and that is really smooth. Once you drop below 10 FPS it starts to get choppy.
